Important Community Pool Update

We’re very saddened to share that on the first day of pool season, an unfortunate incident occurred at the Rosewood Park pool that resulted in a broken light fixture in the water and glass in the pool. During the incident, a child sustained a foot injury. We’re thinking of the family and wishing the child a smooth and speedy recovery.
As a precaution, our pool service provider was called immediately to assess the situation. Based on their evaluation, and in accordance with safety protocols, the pool must be:
• Fully drained
• Cleared of all glass or debris
• Refilled completely
• And then chemically balanced and tested to meet commercial-grade swimming standards
This multi-step process may take up to two weeks, depending on several factors including the availability of replacement parts, water treatment requirements, and weather conditions, which can impact the pace of draining, refilling, and chemical stabilization.
To ensure safety for all:
• All pool key cards have been temporarily deactivated
• The pool gate has been secured with a padlock
• A “Pool Closed” sign is in place at the entrance
We know how disappointing this is, especially after the excitement around the pool’s opening. The Rosewood Park pool is more than just an amenity—it’s a cherished gathering place for kids, families, and neighbors throughout the summer. Please know that the Board is closely monitoring every step of the recovery process, and we are doing everything possible to expedite the timeline while ensuring full safety compliance.
We will continue to keep you updated with the latest information from our service provider and notify you as soon as we have a reopening date.
Thank you for your understanding, your patience, and your continued support as we work through this unexpected challenge.
