Rosewood Park Community Dumpster Event

Our Community Dumpster Event is back and happening Friday, April 11 through Sunday, April 13 — the perfect opportunity to kick off your spring cleaning and clear out some clutter.
If you remember last August’s event, it was a huge success—we filled two dumpsters in under three hours. We even had to bring in a third just to handle the overflow. This time around, we’ve scheduled and budgeted for two dumpsters only, so we’re asking everyone to please be mindful and help us stay within our planned resources.
Dumpster Location: In the pool parking lot
Start Time: As soon as the first dumpster arrives Friday morning—we will post an announcement once the dumpsters are here
Accepted Items: Large household items that don’t fit in your regular trash pickup
NOT Accepted:
- Mattresses
- Tires
- Chemicals/Paint (unless solidified with dirt or kitty litter)
- Coolants
- Refrigerators or A/C units
- Batteries
PLEASE REMEMBER:
- Fill the dumpsters only to the top edge. They must be level in order to be hauled away. Overfilling can delay removal and result in additional charges.
- Do not leave items around the dumpster. Anything on the ground will need to be cleaned up, and the extra disposal adds cost to the community.
- If the dumpsters are already full when you arrive, we kindly ask that you hold onto your items until the next scheduled event. We know it’s disappointing, but sticking to this helps us keep these events sustainable for everyone.
Last August, many neighbors volunteered to help organize overflow—we’re so grateful for that effort. This time, with everyone’s help in following the guidelines, we hope to avoid needing extra dumpsters or clean-up crews.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation and for helping keep Rosewood Park a clean and beautiful place to live.
